Thanks to everyone that helped make the Zero Robotics Middle School Summer Program 2018 a success! The program concluded on August 10th as middle school students gathered in 17 different locations across the United States and Russia to watch the live webcast of the ISS Finals. With NASA astronauts Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold acting as referees, floating robotic satellites called SPHERES carried out programs written by the students. The competition included teams from: CA, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MA, MN, NJ, OR, PA, Puerto Rico, TX, WA, WVA, Russia and Armenia.

Congratulations to all of the students for their work in getting their state's code to the SPHERES on the ISS! The championship went to a joint Russian and Pennsylvanian team—a nice reflection of a similar collaboration onboard the ISS. We hope you all had fun!

A recording of the final event can be found on our ISS Finals Page.
